Classic frame

Load-bearing thermally insulated window and door units
ThermoFRAME is a prefabricated spatial frame that transforms windows and doors into full-fledged load-bearing elements of the facade. It serves as a thermally insulated interface between the glazing and the facade panel, ensuring precise geometry, continuity of the thermal insulation contour, and structural reliability.

Key Features
• Thermal and sound insulation:
The integrated polyurethane insulation eliminates perimeter cold bridges.
• Load-bearing function:
The ThermoFRAME design allows for the perception of loads from both glazing and façade elements that perform an enclosure function without sufficient load-bearing capacity.
• Geometric accuracy:
Factory manufacturing ensures high accuracy of dimensions and tolerances during installation.
• Structural formation of window and door joints: The ThermoFRAME serves as the basis for forming window and door openings, including rectangular, corner, panoramic, and cantilever solutions, ensuring their load-bearing capacity and thermal insulation integrity.
• Simplified installation:
Reduces the number of operations on site and lowers the requirements for the qualifications of installers.
Execution options
1. Classic frame (for rectangular window and door openings)
2. Corner frame (internal and external corners of the glazed facade)
3. Panorama frame / post-and-beam glazing (for doors and facades with a large area of glazing)
4. Frame with protruding glazing (windows that extend beyond the plane of the facade)

Technical specifications
Advantages ThermoFRAME
• Increased energy efficiency of the facade.
• Reduced labor costs on the construction site.
• Reliability when installing heavy glazing units.
• Direct connection with other system components KARKASYS (PanelKIT, PanelCORE).

Preparation for window installation

For reinforced concrete
panels
ThermoFRAME RC is a factory frame specially designed for installation in the openings of single-layer reinforced concrete panels. It creates an accurate geometry for window or door openings and provides the structural load-bearing capability, thermal and sound insulation, as well as full readiness for the installation of windows or doors without additional operations on the construction site.

Construction
• The framework includes horizontal beams and two vertical posts, made of thermal beams — a closed metal profile with perforation in the form of shaped “blinds”, arranged in a checkerboard pattern, directed inwards.
• The internal cavity is completely filled with high-pressure polyurethane foam (density ≥50 kg/m³, σсж = 2 MPa), which eliminates thermal bridges and improves sound insulation.
• Attachment to the reinforced concrete panel is done using anchor bolt connections through pads made of porous rubber.
• The posts have their own load-bearing capacity, sufficient to support the weight of glazing, wind, and operational loads.
Fire and heat resistance
The thermal beam is protected along its entire length on all sides with basalt board pads, which:
• excludes direct contact of metal
with fire,
• increases the overall fire resistance
of the panel,
• serves as an additional layer
for thermal and sound insulation.
Ready for the installation of windows and doors
• At the factory in pre-assembly, guides, hinge seatings, locks, and fasteners can be installed, in case it is used as a door frame.
• The installation of windows or doors is carried out without modifications to the opening, directly at the factory or immediately after the panel is mounted at the construction site.

Geometry and formats
• Standard frame sizes:
• Windows: width from 600 to 6000 mm, height from 600 to 3000 mm;
• Doors: standard 900×2100 mm (single-leaf), double doors are possible;
• Post thickness: from 60×60 mm to 150×60 mm (depending on the required strength);
• The frame is supplied assembled with a concrete panel, ready for installation of internal finishing
and additional insulation, setting its thickness and surface level.
Simplification of production and assembly
• The need for complex embedded elements, site measurements
and adjustments of openings is eliminated;
• Accuracy and repeatability improve;
• Installation time and costs for windows and doors are reduced;
• Energy efficiency of the building increases.
